The Greenwood Genetic Center (GGC) is seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our Diagnostic Team. In this role, you will act as a bridge between business needs and technology solutions, working closely with Laboratory Directors to gather, analyze, and report various data sources that need to be understood in an organized and logical fashion. The data generated will be used to support operational improvements, identify opportunities, and decision-making in the Diagnostic division.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal GGC personnel to review monthly/annual activities and trends that impact decision-making, such as cost analysis and referral patterns.
• Work with the Director of the Diagnostic division to analyze existing processes and systems to identify areas for improvement or automation.
• Create clear documentation including requirements documents, use cases, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to support decision-making.
• Communicate findings to key personnel through presentations, reports, and meetings.
• Maintain understanding of current industry trends, tools, and best practices in business analysis.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer/Data Science, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a Business/Data Analyst or in a related role.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, and business process modeling tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
