Assistant City Manager
The Assistant City Manager aids the City Manager in executing the short and long-term vision
for the City in collaboration with the City Council, Department Heads, and staff. This position
has a wide latitude for the exercise of independent judgment. Manages special projects, writes
and administers grants, and performs budget and policy analysis. Anticipates organizational
needs and guides Department Heads toward meeting those needs. May perform management
and coordination in the absence of the City Manager. Reports directly to the City Manager.
