This month, the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce kicks off their annual grassroots tour across the Palmetto State. The Chamber will visit with over 40 local chambers and groups at 25 different stops from August to October. This tour serves as an opportunity to engage with local business leaders and gain valuable insight into top issues and challenges that local businesses are facing. The information gathered will serve as a critical component in developing the SC Chamber’s competitiveness agenda representing the South Carolina business community’s top priorities. The agenda is released every year before the state legislative session begins and will guide the SC Chamber’s advocacy efforts that year. 

September 14, the Tour will stop in Greenwood, SC at the Arts Center of Greenwood! This will be a joint event only for members of the Greenwood SC Chamber of Commerce and the McCormick County Chamber of Commerce. The program will run approximately from 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM.
