Hello.  I am Bea Walker, and I have lived in the Laurens and Lake Greenwood area for all of my life.  I grew up spending weekends on Lake Greenwood.  My grandfather was a game warden who worked this area, and my family spent much time on Lake Greenwood in my early years.  Later, my father purchased a store, now Lee's Barbecue, and although I grew up in Laurens in my early years, Greenwood and the lake became home to us. It goes without saying that I know this area quite well.  Nothing is more gratifying to me in life than being able to help people, especially in the type of work that I do. As a former teacher, I was very passionate about meeting the needs of my students, and I devoted a very large part of my life to that end.  I know quite well how wonderful it feels to "give yourself away" daily in order to reach others.  Now, even as a Realtor, I feel this same pull toward people as I try to help them achieve their goals in buying or selling a home.  It is the "giving away" continually of myself, whether as a mom, as a realtor, and for all the many roles I perform that makes life satisfying.  In the work that I do as a realtor, it is especially gratifying to be able to help families to experience the American dream of owning a home in this great country.  I am a realtor who does not mind going the extra mile to help anyone, whether buying or selling.   My primary goal is to achieve this in a smooth and stress-free manner.  My goal as well is to have happy, well-protected, and well satisfied buyers and sellers who are proud of the way in which their transaction is handled.  I adhere to a strict code of ethics and stand by that firmly.  I have loved so much the opportunity to meet and make friendship with so many people in this business, and being able to help them has truly been a blessing for me.  I am proudly affiliated with RE/MAX Action Realty in Greenwood, South Carolina, and can truly say that I am part of a superior company of realtors.  

     Next to my awesome and amazing God, my family is of utmost importance to me. They are my true blessing and the focus of my life.   My husband and very best friend Jack and I have two children, Patrick and Claire, and now five beautiful grandchildren.  My favorite hobby is music and I have a great passion for piano. I have loved playing at weddings, often when my daughter would sing, or for the church choir, or filling in for other church pianists.  My other interests include decorating my home, reading, traveling, and spending quality time with my family.
