Lander’s Franklin Rausch to Speak on Famous S.C. Revolutionary War Battle
GREENWOOD, S.C.—Lander University invites the Greenwood and Lander communities to attend a talk on Tuesday, Sept. 23, by Dr. Franklin Rausch, a history professor at Lander University and a Revolutionary War historian. The program is free and open to the public and will begin at 6 p.m. at the Arts Center of Greenwood (120 Main Street). Light refreshment and a cash bar will begin at 5:30 p.m. and the lecture will last approximately one hour, with time for questions.

Rausch earned his M.A. in Asian studies at Indiana University and his Ph.D. from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. He volunteers as a living historian, usually at Ninety-Six, where he serves on the cannon crew and uses dioramas to help people better understand the history of the American Revolution.
