British actor David Payne is bringing his one-man play ‘Churchill’ to Erskine College on Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. Join us in Memorial Hall Auditorium for this exciting event! 

Payne’s portrayal of British statesman Winston Churchill is full of candor and humor. Set in 1963 at Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire, England, the play focuses on some of the most significant events of Churchill’s life and the path that led to his leadership role during World War II. Churchill reflects on the influence of the United States in his experience and talks about the most important women in his life—his wife Clementine and Queen Elizabeth II.
