The Arts Center of Greenwood will host a sixth annual Earth Into Art Sale on Saturday, April 18 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. This highly anticipated event has a special twist this year and it will double as an Earth Day Hooray celebration in partnership Greenwood County Litter Prevention and Keep Greenwood County Beautiful.
Earth Into Art The event will feature local artists presenting a variety of handmade items for sale including basketry, pottery, woodwork, paintings, prints, bags, jewelry and more. The event will also include live art demos throughout the day, food, and crafts. There will also be an opportunity to participate in an immersive makerspace using recycled materials.
Earth Day Hooray This new event addition is geared towards children and their families in celebration of "Earth Day!" Local eco-friendly organizations will be on site with information tables, activities, and giveaways to educate families on how they can get more involved in locally (like doing something as small as recycling the right things to as big as organizing their own litter clean-ups).
