Cambridge Academy is seeking a qualified and engaging instructor to teach Middle and High School Science. The ideal candidate will have a passion for science education and the willingness to engage and support students at a high level.

Job Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Science Education

Graduate degree and/or teaching experience preferred

Responsibilities and Duties:

Plan lessons and develop curriculum to demonstrate scientific principles

Encourage and assist students to develop skills in problem-solving and the scientific method

Engage students through hands-on activities or demonstrations

Employ a variety of instructional methods to respond effectively to student needs

Assess and track student progress, and communicate as needed with colleagues, parents, and students

Engage students outside of the classroom through participation in extracurricular activities and school events
