How do you go about setting boundaries in the workplace? Marjorie Blalock will guide us through the process.
Marjorie Chrisley-Blalock currently serves as the Director of Resource Development at the United Way of the Lakelands.
She is a member of BPW of Greenwood, a board member of The Friends of the Ninety Six National Historic Site, and a Rotarian in The Emerald City Rotary Club. She is a past board member of the 96 Chamber of Commerce, an Ambassador of Greenwood County, past Presidential Ambassador for Piedmont Technical College, a member of the Clemson Omni~bios Society and the 96 Historical Society.
Blalock is the recipient of the 96 Chamber of Commerce Service Award and the prestigious Trailblazer award by the Town of Ninety Six among other accolades.
She, in the past, has served as the Director of Tourism & Events for the Town of Ninety Six and was instrumental in establishing the SC Festival of Stars. She is also a former Store Manager and top salesperson for Farmers Furniture.
In addition to her business career, she is a published author and freelance writer & photographer. As the author of the children's book CAN I, MAY I, PLEASE? and the series: The History & Mystery of the South Carolina Lakelands, her pen name is Marjorie LaNelle. Her passion for writing has led her to opening her companies: MARJORIE LANELLE PRODUCTIONS & PROMOTIONS here in Greenwood and HOURGLASS TOURS in The City of Abbeville.
She has recently been inducted as an honorable member of the Paranormal Society of Savannah in Georgia.
Margie is the mother of three sons and grandmother to four grandchildren. She and her husband, Andy, reside in South Carolina.
